I am proud to be standing as your Parish Councillor in the upcoming election and haved lived in our village since 2004. I have been actively involved in our community through village fetes, cricket and now as a recent Parish Councillor (co-opted autumn last year). Like many of you, I believe our parish council can do better and it’s time for a positive change.

My Vision

I want to help build a parish council that is

• Approachable and open to everyone

• Willing to listen and truly hear residents

• Responsive and accountable

• Understanding of community needs

• Forward-thinking and progressive

Above all, I will continue to hold the Principles; ensuring integrity, transparency, and accountability in every decision made on your behalf.

What I will work towards

• Holding public interaction meetings at least once every quarter, so your voices are regularly heard

• Encouraging greater transparency in decision making

• Recommending public involvement in co-option decisions, because parish councillors are your representatives

• Promoting a council that works with the community, not apart from it

We all want the best of our village.  Let’s move forward together and ensure we don’t repeat the challenges of the past.
