Hi, John Williams here… Papworth resident for 26 years, husband, father and grandfather. I’m a retired IT exec, now busy restoring classic cars, running a Men’s Mental health ‘Man Cave’, generally fixing ‘stuff’.

I’ve loved bringing up the family in Papworth and appreciate what a great village we have, however, I believe we can make it even better. Some things have slipped in recent years: facilities are not at the standard we should expect, parts of the village are looking tatty, and many residents feel unhappy.

Like you, I want a Parish Council that genuinely works for, and with, the residents of Papworth in an open, honest and accountable manner. I’m prepared to do my bit, and I ask for your support: with a vote on 7th May, and by actively engaging with your Parish Council so that together we can make our great village an even better one.
