My name is Matthew Platts, and I first visited the village in early 2017 with my girlfriend and our two sons. From that moment, I felt a strong connection to the community, its character, and welcoming atmosphere. Later that year, we made the decision to move here permanently, and two years after settling in, we were married. This village has truly become our home.

In recent years, however, I have noticed a decline in some aspects of village life that once made it so special. As someone who cares deeply about this community, I am motivated to help make a positive difference.

I am passionate about restoring pride in the village and working with residents to improve our shared environment. I believe that through commitment and collaboration, we can bring back the strong sense of community we value.

I would welcome the opportunity to serve as a council member and contribute to the village’s future.
