The Great Printworks Pirate Weekend presents...
Isle 'ave a Shanty!
A family-friendly evening of pirate fun, Cornish pasties, sea shanties, and adventure!
Isle ‘Ave A Shanty are a six-piece cappella male harmony group from the Isle of Ely. They perform traditional sea and folk songs, along with folk style versions of modern classics. Unusual for a landlocked county, they bring their own distinctive twist to both traditional and original songs.
Their live show is full of camaraderie, fun and interaction. Sing along, join the actions, and enjoy songs that sail across oceans, roam the countryside, and toast with grog, noggins and a drop of Nelson’s blood.
The band consists of ‘Able Seaman’ Andrew Newton, Lee ‘Kiss Me Harvey’, ‘Long John’ Tony Calladine, ‘Sea Sick’ Stuart Green, Elliott ‘Sea’ Spray, & ‘Captain’ Kevin King.
