Join East Anglian Air Ambulance and London Show Choir for Great St Mary’s carol concert
East Anglian Air Ambulance is inviting its supporters across Cambridgeshire to enjoy a festive evening of Christmas carols at Great St Mary’s Church in Cambridge on Monday 7 December, where the singing will be led by the London Show Choir.
Featuring beautiful performances, festive readings and opportunities to sing along to seasonal favourites, the concert will round off a historic year for the charity. In addition to its normal fundraising, East Anglian Air Ambulance is currently raising money for a new air base on the outskirts of the city, which it urgently needs to build ahead of the closure of Cambridge Airport.
Tickets for the concert are on sale now – with all proceeds from the event helping East Anglian Air Ambulance continue to provide critical care across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Stuart Wyle, Director of Fundraising and Supporters at East Anglian Air Ambulance, said: "We’re excited to welcome supporters to our festive carol concert at Great St Mary’s, in the centre of Cambridge. This is always a special event in our calendar, bringing people together to celebrate the festive season and reflect on another year of delivering critical emergency care to the region’s most seriously ill and injured people. This is only possible thanks to the generosity and dedication of our incredible supporters.
“This year, the concert will be particularly meaningful as we continue our fundraising appeal for a new air base in Fulbourn, which will play a vital role in supporting the future of our lifesaving service. It’s an opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the year, while looking ahead to an exciting new chapter for the charity. We hope as many people as possible will join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening of festive music, reflection and community spirit.”
The London Show Choir has risen to prominence through a host of diverse performances, working with a range of exciting guest singers and selling out shows in the heart of London’s West End. Renowned for their vibrant performances and impressive vocal talent, the choir promises to bring a wonderful sense of joy and festive spirit to the evening, making this year’s carol concert a truly memorable occasion.
Doors will open at 19:00 with the concert starting at 19:30 and finishing at 20:30 (estimated).
Tickets start from £7 for children and £10 for adults. Under 5’s can attend for free. - https://www.eaaa.org.uk/support-us/events/festive-carol-concerts
